Sirius renews agreement with Performance

Sirius Retail Television has confirmed that it will continue to run Performance - The Arts Channel on satellite and cable through the end of 2004.
The deal was struck with the channel's parent, Arts and Entertainment Ltd, which is itself part of Daily Mail and General Trust. Arts and Entertainment Ltd will continue to provide programming for the channel, while Sirius will handle technical aspects. Sirius will also generate revenues from advertising and home-shopping on the channel.
Sirius CEO Ed Hall said:
"We have had an excellent first year with Performance and have developed a strong satellite audience for the channel. I’m delighted that both parties have agreed to continue working together in this unique broadcasting partnership."
