Humax has released a firmware update for its high definition Freesat set top box, Foxsat-HD.
The update, which takes the firmware from HZPTSF 1.00.13 to 1.00.15, offers "performance enhancements" to MHEG - the technology used for interactive services on the platform - in high definition, and adds support for DDS - Display Definition Segment - to subtitling, which may permits subtitles to be appropriately scaled on high definition broadcasts.
