A new channel dedicated to the capital is to launch on Sky Digital this summer.
Enteraction - the company behind Thomas Cook TV and L!ve TV - was contracted by London's visitor organisation Visit London to produce and run the new channel, to be called 'London TV'.
???We're extremely pleased to be working with Visit London to launch what we believe will become the number one information and entertainment source about the capital," said Enteraction CEO Mark Cullen.
"The channel will have something for all ages and interests and is aimed at both Londoners and visitors from around the UK and the rest of the world.???
The new 24/7 station is not the first proposed channel for the capital; last year Simply TV planned a 'Simply London' channel although ultimately it never got off the ground.
