Esteemed cult horror writer Jonathan Sothcott has been named as the head of programming for upcoming niche station 'The Horror Channel'.
Also a director and producer, Sothcott will have the responsibility of acquiring all movies and programming for the channel, which launches May 3rd on Sky.
"Jonathan recognises exactly which films horror buffs want to see," said Horror Channel MD Tony Hazell. "His excellent contacts in the industry mean The Horror Channel has access to more of the best horror movies than anyone else."
