Discovery cuts Quest hours
Published Friday, Mar 6 2009, 12:45 GMT | By James Welsh
Quest, the new digital terrestrial channel from Discovery, will air from 10am to midnight instead of 24 hours a day.
According to Broadcast, Discovery plans to sell the overnight airtime to a third party such as a shopping channel. It acquired a 24 hour slot from SDN, ITV's digital terrestrial multiplex unit, last October.
The channel - Discovery's first free-to-air service - will launch on May 14.
