In Pictures: New Sky+ HD Guide

A new version of the Sky programme guide for high definition boxes was rolled out to 38,000 homes this morning.
The new guide introduces several new features, such as an optional mini-TV screen on the TV Guide and the ability to view "now, next and later" programme information for shows on any channel for the next 12 hours without needing to interrupt the programme being watched. Recordings may be set up without visiting the Planner screen and episodes of recorded series are "stacked" to make finding them easier.
Last month, Sky told DS that the new software is designed to make linear content easier to find and record, and lays the groundwork for new broadband on-demand services currently in development.
