Sources indicate ntl price rise on way

Previously reliable sources have indicated to Digital Spy that price rises will be implemented on some ntl services in September.
Digital TV subscriptions, we are told, will rise in line with recently-announced increases in Sky subscriptions. The Sky increases will add £1 to premium packages, a figure likely to be the one reflected in ntl's offering.
Other increases include telephone features such as Call Waiting and Voicemail going from £1.50 each to £1.75 per month. The bundled package of features will go up to £3.50 from £3. Also, ntl's 6p talk plan will become a 5p talk plan, dropping by £1 per month in the process to price-match BT's Option 1 plan. Our sources noted that the first sixty minutes on this plan will cost 5.5p on BT but 5p on ntl.
More details as we get them.
