ITV3, the new classic drama, movie and entertainment channel from ITV, is now expected to launch as a free-to-air channel - and therefore to appear on Freeview in addition to satellite and cable.
Without citing sources, a report in Media Guardian says that ITV chairman Charles Allen "is understood" to have reached the decision to alter plans that would have launched the station as a subscription-only service.
