Teletext does Interactive Pigs

Digital Interactive Television Group (DITG) and Teletext are to follow Gerbil Roulette which launched earlier in the year with Squeal of Fortune.
This new interactive game will be made available via the Teletext Games platform available to Sky viewers from the interactive menu.
Stars of the game are ten piglets, with names including Percy, Pygmalion and of course, Babe, who feature in the 30 second pre-recorded film clips. Each piglet has a number concealed on them, and viewers to the service are able to use their remotes to place bets on which number piglet will be pulled from the hay pen. The game consists of a randomly generated loop of the pre-recorded games.
Managing Director of DITG Gaming, Damian Cope said: "Non-traditional betting is increasingly popular - and digital technology has opened up opportunities to create online & interactive offerings that make gaming and gambling accessible to a new audience. 'Squeal of Fortune' is a fun example of the innovation possible using the latest interactive television technology."
