Express Shopping Channel to launch on ntl

The channel will run as a joint venture between Richard Desmond's Northern & Shell and the mail order retailer N Brown Group which owns a number of catalogue brands such as Fashion World and Ambrose Wilson.
Northern & Shell’s Docklands facility will produce the station while the products will be provided and distributed by N Brown.
Programming planned for the channel will include specialist genres such as travel, gardening and DIY.
A placeholder for The Express Shopping Channel can currently be found on channel 939.
