Virgin to issue pro-rata Setanta refunds

People who subscribed to Setanta Sports through Virgin Media will receive pro-rata refunds, it has been confirmed.
A spokesperson said that "any customers subscribing to the service will be refunded pro-rata".
BT Vision, which retailed Setanta Sports 1 to its customers, also confirmed that customers would be refunded for any advance payments.
Virgin Media said that negotiations with ESPN for the carriage of its new British channel are continuing.
