Lime Wire has announced a partnership with music distributor CD Baby.
The deal is expected to bring the total number of licensed tracks to over 3.5 million from over over 240,000 independent artists.
"CD Baby has established itself as a major player in the indie community, so we are excited to be working together," said LimeWire's Tom Monday. "CD Baby and LimeWire Store both champion independent artists and give them access to new customers and revenue opportunities, so it's a perfect partnership, really."
Director of digital distribution at CD Baby Phil Bauer added: "We are very excited to add Lime Wire's rapidly growing online store as a new partner and opportunity for CD Baby artists."
