Telewest simplifies broadband pricing
Published Friday, Nov 5 2004, 00:57 GMT | By James Welsh
Telewest customers will be charged the same for broadband service regardless of whether or not they take another service from the cable operator.
Under Telewest's old pricing structure, customers were charged less for their broadband service if they "bundled" it with a phone line or digital television service. Under the new unified pricing, customers will pay the same lower rate even if they only take broadband service from Telewest.
Therefore, Telewest's 256kbps service is £17.99/mo, 750kbps is £25/mo, 1.5Mbps is £35/mo, and 3Mbps is £50/mo.
