Previously reliable sources have indicated to Digital Spy that ntl will launch its new video-on-demand service in mid-January.
Our sources indicated that the cableco would download new VOD-capable software to digital cable boxes on a franchise-by-franchise basis beginning around January 18, 2005.
Free VOD content will include a Catch-Up service featuring content from the BBC, while chargeable content will include music videos, kids programming, films and adult movies.
More on this as we get it. Please note that this is unofficial information at this stage.
