FOX's UK entertainment channel FX has secured carriage with NTL, it was announced Friday.
The news, which comes one year after the channel's debut on Sky, sees FX expand its reach by 1.2 million households from 7 million.
"The NTL deal seals a great first year for FX," said Jason Thorp, Fox International Channels UK vp of broadcasting and marketing. "We're obviously very proud that the quality of the product allowed us to broker the deal during such a competitive period in the multichannel market."
FX will launch on NTL later this Spring.
