Nat Geo Wild goes free on Virgin Media

From today, subscribers on all cable TV packages can access the channel at position 228 on the Virgin Media EPG.
Nat Geo Wild, which carries programmes such as The Dog Whisperer and Long Way Down, is usually only available to Virgin Media TV customers on the XL package.
The free-to-air offer will run until December 2.
