Details on upcoming Humax updates

Humax has provided details to Digital Spy on upcoming software updates for a range of its set top boxes. A box-by-box roundup follows.
PVR-8000T and PVR-8000T/80
Humax UK Support told DS:
"The following issues have been addressed in the new software: 1. Stereo bug on playback 2. Loss of HDD corrected (FIAP) 3. Weekly/Daily recording dates displayed correctly 4. Fixed problem with PVR not stopping at correct end time 5. Schedule data is no longer lost when powering OFF (from the rear ON/OFF swtich) when the unit in Standby mode."
A provisional over-the-air download window has been booked for March 30 - April 1. The software will also be available for download on the Humax website.

Humax UK Support told DS:
"The following issues have been addressed in the new software: 1. Extended EPG to 7 Days of programme names (limited memory means that detailed programme information is limited) 3. Resolved Lip sync Problem 4. Menu/Guide display resolved for 16:9 TV 5. Resolved Automatic Search where some Multiplex information was not detected."
A provisional over-the-air download window has been booked for March 28 - March 30. The software will also be available for download on the Humax website.
