MGM Channel to launch on NTL in Ireland

MGM has announced the launch of its film channel into the Emerald Isle via NTL.
The 'MGM Channel,' which broadcasts movies from the company's extensive library, will be available as part of NTL's basic package later this month.
"MGM Networks continues to expand globally and the launch of the MGM Channel in Ireland underscores our ongoing commitment to the international channel business," said MGM Networks evp Bruce Tuchman.
"We are thrilled to have the country's largest cable operator on board for our launch into Ireland, and we are excited to be working with ntl, as well as exploring additional distribution opportunities as we move forward in this dynamic and growing market."
Mark Mohan, sales & marketing director of ntl Ireland, added: "We are delighted to offer our customers quality programming from MGM Networks. "Movie enthusiasts will now be able to access an extensive array of world-renowned MGM films through this superb new channel."
Customised versions of the MGM Channel air in fifteen countries worldwide, including Germany, Spain, Greece and Russia.
