Paramount Comedy is the favourite to replace E4 on Top Up TV, according to this week's Broadcast.
The service add-on has been seeking a new channel for its pay TV lineup since Channel 4 announced its intention to transform E4 into a free-to-air offering late last month.
Others on the shortlist include National Geographic, LivingTV, MTV and Eurosport but Paramount is thought to be the frontrunner.
The replacement could be on air as soon as this Wednesday (June 1).
