Closure looms for NTL's Boro TV
Published Monday, Jul 4 2005, 22:31 BST | By Neil Wilkes

The cable firm, which has fully funded the venture since its launch in 1998, has been seeking a new partner for the last six months.
A spokesperson said that Boro TV would close in weeks if ongoing talks with "various parties" proved fruitless.
"We regret having to take this decision as Boro TV is a service that we have always been very proud of," explained Shai Weiss, Managing Director of NTL's consumer product division.
"Despite our best efforts to find a a new partner, none have committed. We are extremely proud of the channel and remain hopeful that a satisfactory solution will be found."
