NTL release VOD rollout details
Published Tuesday, Jul 26 2005, 01:53 BST | By James Welsh
NTL's video on demand service will be rolled out to Broxbourne, Huddersfield, Dewsbury and parts of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire over the next seven days.
"Cable's network advantage means that we can offer this type of outstanding on demand TV experience," said Shai Weiss, managing director of consumer products at NTL. "It's exclusive to cable and the feedback from customers has been exceptional. Not only is there a great choice of what to watch, but it's also great value. For instance, King Arthur, a recent movie premiere, was available for just 50p. Only cable offers that type of value, choice and convenience."
This phase of the rollout will result in VOD services being available to 375,000 NTL customers. Keep up with the latest details on the forum.
