Virgin Media Television has announced the forthcoming launch of a new Living Loves channel showcasing "hit dramas and comedies from Living's recent history".

On July 5, Living Loves will replace the Living+2 channel on Sky at position 172 and Virgin Media at position 159.

Running a daily schedule from 3pm to 2am, the channel will give viewers the opportunity to experience their favourite Living shows again or catch up on ones that they have missed.

The programming lineup will include Cougar Town, Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Private Practice and Supernatural.

On the launch day, Living Loves will fill its primetime schedule with episodes of Will & Grace, Grey's Anatomy and Medium.

Accoding to VMtv, which was recently acquired by Sky in a £160m deal, Living Loves will have an "easy-to-navigate stripped schedule", along with "a gorgeous on-air look and feel, complementing the current Living and LivingIt branding".

VMtv's director of television Claudia Rosencrantz said: "Living Loves will be 'series-link' heaven for viewers who simply can't get enough of Living's best shows. Shows as good as these should be seen again."

Chris Collie, VMtv's head of scheduling and channel strategy, will be channel editor for Living Loves, while also maintaining all his current responsibilities.
