HomeChoice restructures pricing, packaging

HomeChoice has announced details of a revamp to its pricing and packaging structure.
Effective next month, customers will face three options: Base Pack, Big Pack or Max Pack. The Base Pack offers over 50 digital channels, the Big Pack offers over 80 channels and the Max Pack includes all available digital channels.
All three packages come with a standard 1Mb internet connection, VOD offerings and phone rental.
Broadband speed can be boosted to 2Mb or the 'Max Speed' option, which offers connection of "up to" 8Mb.
The company claims that most customers will experience a price decrease as a result of the changes, although the subscription price will be frozen for a year for the "minority" that do see a price increase.
A "significant" number of new broadcast and VOD channels will be launched to coincide with the changes.
