Telewest looks toward 100Mbit service

The speed increases are possible through investment in Data Over Cable Service Interface Specifications (DOCSIS) standards, making possible a 50Mbit-100Mbit service in the London area by the end of next year.
The news comes just days after the operator commenced rollout of its new 10Mbit connection to some 40,000 customers in Scotland.
