Sky considers bond issue

Sky is considering making its first bond issue since 1999 to extend the maturity dates of its debt.
Bloomberg reports that a bond sale worth around £1bn is being considered, with the money being used for general purposes in addition to its role in refinancing some of the company's shorter-term debt.
