UK film consortium All Industry Marketing (AIM) and TV firm Enteraction are teaming up to launch a new cinema channel next year.
Provisionally titled 'Inside Movies', the station will aim to push current and forthcoming cinema releases. Content includes listings, sneak previews, behind-the-scenes footage, promotions and special offers. An interactive service is also planned.
“This is the first time the UK film and cinema industry has entered into a joint venture TV channel," said Diana Berman, director of development & marketing for AIM. "The launch of this exciting new venture is a prime example of the mandate for the collaboration and innovation that exists within the UK film industry. It’s our mission to reach out and engage the consumer, to showcase the diversity of the cinema experience across all media.???
Inside Movies is slated for a Sky launch next February.
