NTL/Telewest to bid for wrestling rights?

The merged NTL/Telewest cable company is entering the ring to stage a bid for the rights to WWE Wrestling, according to a report on Wrestlemag.
The move is part of a wider strategy to acquire the rights to air top sporting events currently held by Sky.
Sky's existing deal with the WWE expires in 2009.
