Homechoice has added the UK's first channel dedicated to showing new and recent releases from major African film production houses to its digital TV lineup.
The African Movie Channel is located on channel 240 and offers hundreds of African films on-demand.
"We are delighted to be able to offer our customers access to the wonderful world of the African Movie Channel," said Jonathan Sykes, managing director of content strategy at Homechoice. "The channel will sit alongside Homechoice's already excellent film service, which offers over 1,000 films, ranging from recent Hollywood blockbusters to classic movies and a large range of Bollywood films. This is yet another example of how Homechoice continues to listen to its customers and we firmly believe that the African Movie Channel will be a welcome addition to the line up for one our key customer groups."
