Telewest has confirmed plans to carry high-definition episodes from the first and second seasons of Lost on its video on demand (VOD) service.
As Digital Spy reported last month, Channel 4 is rolling out a multi-platform VOD service later this year, and has already launched one available to broadband internet users. However, Telewest is stealing a march on its multichannel competitors by offering Channel 4's US hits in high-definition format on VOD.
Both HD and SD episodes of Lost (and Desperate Housewives, also covered by the deal) will cost 99p each.
