Sky has today launched a mobile application in Apple's App Store for Sky Go.

The new service enables subscribers to watch TV on a variety of devices.

On July 6, Sky Player and Sky Mobile TV were revamped as Sky Go, allowing Sky's 10m customers to watch live TV channels on PCs, Macs, tablet computers, games consoles and smartphones.

A dedicated Sky Go app has now become available for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, allowing users to watch all of the Sky Sports channels, ESPN, Sky Movies and Sky News on the devices.

Sky said that more channels will be added to the app over time.

Earlier in the month, footballer Peter Crouch and rapper Dizzee Rascal signed up to appear in a major TV marketing campaign to promote the availability of the Sky Sports channels on Sky Go.
