The Vodafone Album, part of the Vodafone VIP events service, enables users to combine their personal photos with professionally taken shots from 11 music festivals.
The service is open to everyone and users can add a soundtrack to their album, as well as tag their friends as on Facebook and share the images across social media platforms.
Vodafone VIP enables customers of the mobile firm to get 48-hour early access to festival tickets, as well as enjoy on-site viewing platforms and the Vodafone Recharge truck, which can charge up to 2,000 phones an hour.
Festivals covered by the album service include Escape into the Park, the Isle of Wight Festival, Download, Hard Rock Calling, Wireless with Barclaycard, T in the Park, Latitude, GlobalGathering, The Big Chill, Reading and Leeds Festival. However, it does not include Glastonbury, where Orange is the event's mobile partner.
Earlier in the year, Orange reported that revellers at the Glastonbury Festival made 2.7m calls and sent 4.9m text messages during the event in late June. Orange's three Chill 'n' Charge tents on site were used by a record 75,000 people during the weekend, up 56% on last year's event.
Next week, Virgin Media will launch a live ad campaign for V Festival presented by Celebrity Juice star Keith Lemon, while a dedicated app for the event has arrived on the firm's TiVo service.
