The LiveScore service, first unveiled in May, provides real-time results and goal/score alerts from various different sports, including football, rugby, tennis, volleyball, handball, ice hockey and basketball.
Alternatively, sports fans can follow their favourite European teams or individual player, such as Andy Murray in tennis, during the entire season.
Alongside live scores and alerts on key incidents, the service also features standings, fixtures, rankings and calendars in a fully customisable homepage.
As Eurosport is a global broadcaster, the app is available in nine different languages - English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Swedish, Polish, Russian and Chinese.
Eurosport said that LiveScore was developed in response to the needs of today's sport fans, as a survey indicated that 89% of users of Eurosport's news apps do so to access live score updates.
The LiveScore app is available now from the iTunes App Store.
"LiveScore enriches and gives a new dimension to our mobile offering as well as taking the Eurosport brand into new and exciting areas," said Eurosport chairman and chief executive Laurent-Eric Le Lay.
"Fans, journalists and sports fanatics across Europe will love the app which is fully customizable and will cater to their every need."
Last month, Eurosport reached the landmark of 5m downloads of its mobile applications, just two years after the sports broadcaster first entered the mobile market.
