Posted on the OfficeVideos YouTube channel, the US software giant's future-gazing film depicts a world in which various devices are seamlessly connected, enabling their users to perform a range of tasks with ease.
In the dialogue-free video, a woman called Ayla Kol arrives at Johannesburg airport on a business trip and is instantly able to translate the announcements via her glasses.
She then gets in a taxi and uses a mobile device to signify the location of her meeting tomorrow, and remotely check-in to her hotel, meaning the doorman knows all her requirements before she even arrives.
Meanwhile, a man in the subway approaches a poster advertising a benefit concert, and, by holding up his phone, is able to instantly donate money to the cause.
Ayla Kol's daughter is then depicted searching for a recipe on her tablet computer, before using the holographic screen to lift the instructions and spread them out on the interactive work surface.
