A leaked page from a Carphone Warehouse catalogue confirms that the device will cost €399.90 (£342) and arrive in stores in time for Christmas, Engadget reports.
The Motorola Xoom 2 features an 8.2-inch touchscreen, 16GB of storage and Android 3.2 pre-installed. An upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is expected to be rolled out post-launch.
A Wi-Fi only model was depicted in the leaked advert. It is not yet known whether a 3G iteration will be released alongside it. Rumours suggest that an alternate model with a 10-inch screen will also be available.
Last month, Motorola unveiled the "world's thinnest 4G smartphone" with the launch of the 7.1mm thick Droid Razr.
The Xoom 2 will be released in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models. Motorola is yet to confirm a specific release date.
