T-Mobile Vivacity
T-Mobile UK, one half of the Everything Everywhere partnership with Orange, has today announced the launch of the Vivacity, a new cut-price smartphone running Google Android 2.3.

Available exclusively from T-Mobile stores, the Vivacity features a 3.5-inch WVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen and a five megapixel rear-mounted camera.

The smartphone runs Android's Gingerbread 2.3 operating system and supports four hours of talk time, and a claimed eight days of stand-by time.

The Vivacity only has a pretty low 512MB of internal storage, but this can be expanded to 32B by inserting a microSD card.

Possibly most interesting, however, about the phone is its price, as it is available in black or white at just £99 on a pay-as-you-go contract, or free on a £10 per month, two-year plan.

Everything Everywhere director of products and devices Paul Jevons said: "The T-Mobile Vivacity gives you everything you want from a smartphone.

"It offers the latest Android software, a large, high resolution touchscreen display and a stunning design - perfect for anyone looking for premium performance and great value for money."
