Google's latest operating system will be available for the LG Optimus Black, LG Optimus 3D and the US-only LG Optimus LTE.
LG previously announced that Optimus 2X will host Ice Cream Sandwich when dispelling rumours to the contrary. The company also said that it is considering software updates for its other handsets.
"We are also continuing to evaluate the ICS OS to determine whether it is compatible with the functionality, features and performance of other LG smartphones to make the ICS OS available on as many LG smartphones as possible," read a statement from LG.
Last week, LG extended its partnership with Italian fashion label Prada and announced the Prada phone by LG 3.0 for early 2012.
LG will release further details of its ICS update next month.
