Nokia launches Lumia 800 'The Dark Knight Rises' edition

Nokia has announced a super-limited run Nokia Lumia 800 special edition branded with the hotly-anticipated new movie The Dark Knight Rises.
The handset, which marks the 2012 release of Christopher Nolan's blockbuster, features the famous Batman symbol etched on the back, reports The Verge.
The phone finish has been made darker than the usual smooth matte covering, while a silicon case included in the package also has the Bat logo imprinted on it.
Each Nokia Lumia 800 Dark Knight Rises edition comes with a set of pre-loaded wallpapers and a dedicated 'tile' for the film on the Windows Phone start screen.
Nokia said that the tile will feature the latest updates on the movie towards its premiere next summer.
Unfortunately, the handset is extremely limited, as only around 40 will be made available around the world.

On Wednesday, a prologue for The Dark Knight Rises was released at IMAX cinemas, giving Batman fans a taste of what's in store for Christian Bale's Batman in the final film in Nolan's trilogy.
A new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises is also expected to debut today (December 16). The film hits cinemas in June 2012.
