Gadget developer Thumbsup! has created the Padintosh, a case for the iPad 2 that is designed to look like the Apple Macintosh 128K, released in 1984.
The retro Padintosh snugly houses the tablet computer complete with screen cover, protecting from scratches and damage.
Thumbsup! said that the product is designed to enable nostalgic gadget fans to relive their "technological '80s youth" whilst still using emails, iTunes and apps.
The Macintosh 128k was the original Apple Macintosh personal computer created by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, which came in a beige, boxy casement with a keyboard and mouse.
The computer was introduced in January 1984 with a now infamous television advert directed by British filmmaker Ridley Scott, costing almost $1m.
