The company, which launched in the UK last April, will become the first ever dedicated online music video partner for the Brits.
During the event at London's O2 Arena on February 21, Vevo will stream the top performances live on its site, as well as exclusive backstage interviews.
In the run up to the awards, the site will also offer access to an archive of on-demand Brit performances from the 2010 and 2011 events in a dedicated hub.
Vevo head of programming Tom Connaughton said: "The Brit Awards are the most talked about night of the UK music calendar, so we're absolutely thrilled that Vevo is partnering with them for the very first time this year.
"We will be giving fans on-demand access to some of the night's top performances, as well as interviews from the red carpet and backstage."
Brit Awards director of events Maggie Crowe said that Vevo is the "perfect online HD music video partner" for the awards, and claimed that the collaboration "will undoubtedly attract more online fans to watch the Brits".
The Brit Awards 2012 is offering fans the opportunity to vote for their favourite acts through a dedicated iPhone app. The ceremony will also be shown live on ITV1 next month.
Connaughton said: "We are all about championing great music, and this is the perfect opportunity for us to bring this amazing UK show to our Vevo audience.
"We're proud to have been chosen by the Brits as their first dedicated online HD music video partner, and working alongside media partners like ITV we want to bring the magic of the awards to the fans, on demand."
