The 900-year-old Jedi Master will front a series of 60-second TV ads for Vodafone's RED Box, which automatically transfers the contents of a consumer's old phone to their new handset.
In the ads, Yoda attempts to use his Jedi powers to help a couple transfer their phone numbers to the husband's new smartphone.
But he soon realises that the Force is not needed, as the RED box can do the job.
The first ad premieres on Channel 4 between 8pm and 9pm tomorrow night (January 19). The campaign will also involve major outdoor and digital activity promoting the RED Box, along with Vodafone's new Data Test Drive, Tech Team and Buyback services.
"These small things can mean the world to our customers - it's why we have developed a range of simple services to help them feel confidently connected on the go," said Vodafone UK director brand marketing Danielle Crook.
"The campaign with Yoda shows that you don't need to be a Jedi Master to unlock the power of mobile internet."
Each TV ad was made by a team at Lucasfilm's renowned San Francisco-based ILM (Industrial Light & Magic) visual effects studio, with Tom Kane voicing the Yoda CGI character.
Yoda's Vodafone ads will follow the appearance of Star Wars droids R2D2 and C3P0 in an ad campaign last year for gadget retailers Currys and PC World.
