Nokia Lumia 900 UK launch plans denied by Carphone Warehouse

Unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this month, the smartphone features a 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack Display, and is powered by Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system, version 7.5.
It is Nokia's first LTE phone, opening up the cutting-edge 4G technology that enables faster broadband connection speeds for next-generation services.
The Lumia 900 was previously announced as launching exclusively in the US on mobile carrier AT&T, but a listing on the Carphone Warehouse website this week invited consumers to pre-order the handset ahead of an expected "June 2012" arrival.
However, the Carphone Warehouse has today told TechRadar that the Lumia 900 is not coming to its UK stores.
The firm, which yesterday reported a slump in pre-paid mobile sales, said that the listing was put up in 'error'. It has now been taken down from the Carphone website.
Nokia has so far given no indication that the Lumia 900 will launch outside the US, although it did stay quiet throughout the Carphone Warehouse leak.
The situation occurs as speculation emerges that Finnish mobile manufacturer Nokia is preparing to unveil the Lumia 910, a new phone boasting a 12MP camera.
