The tech giant says that the downloads will improve stability, compatibility and security for computers running the software.
OS X Lion's 10.7.3 upgrade introduces language support for Catalan, Croatian, Greek, Hebrew, Romanian, Slovak, Thai, and Ukrainian. Issues with smart cards, authenticating directory services and cross-compatibility with Microsoft's Windows have also been addressed.
Snow Leopard's update is a security patch, which Apple strongly recommends users download. Both Mac operating systems last received patches in October last year.
Apple's Safari web browser is upgraded to version 5.1.3 as part of the updates, which are now available for download.
Recent figures from NetApplications suggest that Apple's OS X operating systems account for 6.39% of the global market, a marginal increase from last month and a 1% year-on-year improvement.
