Available for the first time on both iPhone and Android, the free Sport Relief in Your Pocket app has been designed as the best way to keep up with the latest news ahead of The Sport Relief Weekend from March 23 to 25.
Featuring videos, pictures and behind-the-scenes footage with the various celebrities involved, the app also has a Fling-a-Face game for users to have "fun and de-stress".
In a mix of FaceFighter and Angry Birds, players can upload images of their own, or their friends' faces, and then catapult them across 17 venues in the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile.
They will encounter "hazards and obstacles" along the way, and are able to collect stars to boost their position on the Sport Relief leaderboard.
Alongside their own images, users can also 'fling' the faces of celebrities such as Hart, Lineker, and Cotton, as well as Vernon Kay, Colin Jackson and Dermot O'Leary.
"My all-time top game has to be the Fling-a-Face game on the 'Sport Relief in Your Pocket' app," said Lineker. "Absolutely brilliant and I'm top scorer - you never lose it!"
Other features on the app include an 'Inspire Me' section for getting involved in Sport Relief, featuring various examples of people's fundraising efforts, and profiles of the individuals and groups that are set to benefit from the money.
Users can link through to register for the Sport Relief Mile on March 25, including the choice of 17 flagship locations across the UK where participants can run one, three or six-mile distances. Over 1m people are expected to take part in the run next month.
The Sport Relief in Your Pocket app is also linked directly to the @sportrelief Twitter feed.
