Olympus has added two new cameras to its compact range.
The Japanese manufacturer has announced the SZ-31MR offering 24x optical zoom, and the SH-25MR as part of its 'Traveller' line.

Olympus claims that the SZ-31MR model is one of the lightest and thinnest cameras of its kind, offering a focal length of 25-600mm and boasting iHS technologies.
The SZ-31MR also features a 16-megapixel backlit CMOS sensor and two separate TruePic V image processors, as well as dual image stabilisation to reduce motion blur.
Other features include HD video playback with multi-recording and multi-framing options, Smart Panorama, HDR Backlight Adjustment, Handheld Starlight Mode and Face Detection, and a touchscreen interface.
The SH-25MR features a 12.5x zoom, iHS technologies including a backlit 16-megapixel CMOS sensor, and full 1080p video recording.
The camera also features a 3-inch touchscreen equipped with GPS and an electronic compass, image stabilisation support and memory card compatibility.
Olympus will release the SZ-31MR in late March, priced at £299.99. The SH-25MR will be available the following month at £229.99.
