As spotted by ITProPortal, the Dixons Retail-owned firm is now taking online orders for the cut-price tablet, which features a 9.7-inch screen, WiFi, Bluetooth and the same battery life as the iPad 2.
The product has been "refurbished", which means that it has been "professionally checked, tested and repackaged" by PC World. It also comes with a 12-month warranty, just as with a new product.
The iPad runs Apple's latest iOS5 operating system, just like the iPad 2, although the second-generation tablet has a more powerful A5 processor and twice the memory, along with two cameras and a slimmer form factor.
However, the £299 price makes this one of the cheapest 3G tablets currently available, as the iPad 2 3G costs £499 at PC World.
Meanwhile, an image supposedly of the casing for the iPad 3 leaked online this week, suggesting that the third iteration of Apple's tablet will feature a battery increase and more graphics power.
