Samsung will begin rolling out its Android 4.0 update for the Galaxy S II next month, according to an industry insider.
Notorious tech blogger Eldar Murtazin claimed via Twitter that the firm will release the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system for the handset in certain territories from March 1.
"Android 4 for Samsung Galaxy S II will be officially available from March 1 (depends from country/operator). Update over the air or using Kies," he Tweeted.

Google launched its Ice Cream Sandwich OS with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in November last year. The software has been available to smartphone and tablet makers developing new devices ever since.
HTC previously announced that it will be adding Android 4.0 to its flagship devices around the same period, confirming an update for the end of February. Sony Ericsson also revealed that its Xperia smartphone will receive the OS in March.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus White shipped in the UK today (February 10), several days ahead of its official launch date.
