HTC's mobile devices are to gain PlayStation certification, it has been reported.
Pocket-lint cites inside sources claiming that the firm's Android tablets and smartphones will be the first third-party platforms to host PSOne titles.

The report speculates that an official announcement could be made later this month at the Mobile World Congress.
Sony's PlayStation certification scheme, intended as a cross-platform initiative, has previously brought games from its back catalogue to its own devices, including the Xperia Play.
Crash Bandicoot, Bruce Lee, Asphalt Adrenaline 6 and Splinter Cell: Conviction are already available for selected Sony and Sony Ericsson handsets, but are yet to appear on tablets and mobiles from other manufacturers.
Earlier this month, Sony rebranded its PlayStation Network as Sony Entertainment Network to bring its entertainment services together under a single banner.
HTC is yet to confirm that its tablets and smartphones are to receive PlayStation certification.
