The ZTE Light II tablet has been confirmed for the UK market.
The Chinese budget manufacturer revealed that the slate, also known as the ZTE V9A, will measure in at 7 inches and run Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

"ZTE V9A is ZTE's first own-branded tablet made available in the UK and we are very excited about its entry into the market," said ZTE director Wu Sa. "We plan to continue our progress in the UK, introducing ZTE branded consumer devices with key capabilities at reasonable prices.
"Our UK strategy is very much focused on providing quality devices - a factor which is apparent through our growth and development in the handset arena."
The ZTE Light II is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, and features 4GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card. Front and rear-facing cameras, and built-in FM radio round off its specs.
ZTE is yet to announce price details for the tablet, which is expected to launch in the UK at the end of the month.
