The service, which grants Sky subscribers access to movies, sports and other content on the go, will be available for devices running the Google operating system on February 22.
Tech Radar reports that the application will appear on Samsung and HTC phones, before being rolled out to other handsets. The HTC Desire, HTC Desire S, HTC Desire HD, HTC Incredible S, HTC Sensation, Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy S2 will be compatible at launch.
Sky released the service for iOS devices in July 2011. The broadcaster previously announced that Sky Go would be released for Android platforms in February this year, but this is this first time a specific date has surfaced.
Sky customers are permitted to register up to two devices to access programming though. Other platforms supporting Sky Go include the Xbox 360 and PCs.
Android devices will receive Sky Go on February 22.
