The paid-for Pac-Man Photo Frame app enables iPhone and iPad owners to place Pac-Man motifs in their photos to "create lively new scenes".
After bringing some "retro arcade flourishes" to their images, the user can then view these creations as a slideshow, or share them on Twitter.
The app comes with four different styles of frame to choose from, along with some animated slide show transitions and a few "rare animated scenes" to watch.
Available now for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad and iPad 2, the Pac-Man Photo Frame app is priced at $1.99 (£1.26).
